Washington, June 14, 2021 – On May 20, the Sustainable Food Policy Alliance (SFPA) hosted a Congressional briefing entitled, “Strengthening America’s Recycling System: A Sustainable Food Policy Alliance Dialogue on Producer Responsibility.” The virtual event kicked off with remarks from Senator Tom Carper (D-DE), Chairman of the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works, and focused on the concept of producer responsibility – including an analysis of the effectiveness of different systems in place around the world and policy solutions for Congress.
The panel discussion, moderated by Rachel Goldstein, North America Policy Director for Mars, Incorporated, featured the following speakers:

- Jodie Roussell, Senior Public Affairs Manager, Nestlé SA
