The Sustainable Food Policy Alliance Comments on School Meals Program

WASHINGTON, April 1, 2020 – The Sustainable Food Policy Alliance (SFPA) has submitted comments on USDA’s Food and Nutrition Service’s proposed rule: “Simplifying Meal Service and Monitoring Requirements in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs.”  As four of the nation’s largest food companies, we support National School Lunch and Breakfast Programs that provide children access to nutritious food which sets them up for a lifetime of making positive dietary choices.
