Washington, May 9, 2022 – The Sustainable Food Policy Alliance (SFPA), which includes global food companies Danone North America, Mars, Incorporated, Nestlé USA, and Unilever United States, supports Colorado’s HB 22-1355, which would establish a best in class Extended Producer Responsibility program that will achieve increased recycling rates for all materials and set a standard for other states considering how to improve recycling systems.
We have signed on to two letters in support of the bill, alongside the following organizations:
- Letter with American Beverage Association, including the Coca-Cola Company, Keurig Dr Pepper and PepsiCo
- Letter with Consumer Goods Forum’s Plastic Waste Coalition of Action, featuring Amcor, the Coca Cola Company, L’Oréal USA, McCain Foods, PepsiCo, Reckitt, SC Johnson and Walmart
