SFPA Lends Support to Extended Producer Responsibility Legislation in Colorado Alongside Industry Peers

Washington, May 9, 2022 – The Sustainable Food Policy Alliance (SFPA), which includes global food companies Danone North America, Mars, Incorporated, Nestlé USA, and Unilever United States, supports Colorado’s HB 22-1355, which would establish a best in class Extended Producer Responsibility program that will achieve increased recycling rates for all materials and set a standard for other states considering how to improve recycling systems.
