SFPA joins letters from business, anti-hunger, education and civil rights communities to ask Congress to include federal nutrition assistance programs in CR

On September 22, the Sustainable Food Policy Alliance (SFPA) signed two letters sent to Congressional leaders and the Administration requesting support for federal nutrition programs in the upcoming Continuing Resolution (CR). Over 20 organizations added their names to the letters – including representatives from the business, anti-hunger, education and civil rights communities – which asked for support for expanding the P-EBT program, increasing SNAP benefits and extending child nutrition waivers in the CR.
