SFPA joins letter to urge EPA to finalize strong standards to curb climate pollution from the nation’s power plants

Washington, August 8, 2023 – The Sustainable Food Policy Alliance (SFPA) joined over 30 U.S. companies and investors in a Ceres-led letter backing the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) efforts to address greenhouse gas emissions from new and existing fossil fuel-fired power plants under the EPA’s authority in the Clean Air Act. The letter, which was led by Ceres, a nonprofit organization working with capital market leaders to solve the world’s greatest sustainability challenges, aligns with key aspects of SFPA’s Climate Policy Principles.
