SFPA Joins AASA and Others to Urge Congress to Extend USDA’s School Meals Waivers

On August 19, SFPA joined the School Superintendents Association (AASA) and over 30 other organizations to call on Congress to extend waiver authorities for the COVID-19 school nutrition rules granted to the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) through the upcoming school year, ensuring students will safely receive meals despite uncertainties driven by the pandemic.
