Washington, July 31, 2023 – The Sustainable Food Policy Alliance (SFPA) submitted comments to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regarding its Draft National Strategy to Prevent Plastic Pollution. The Draft National Strategy clearly outlines collective strategies to reduce pollution during plastic production, improve post-use materials management, and prevent plastic pollution from entering the environment, which closely align with SFPA’s own goals in this area.
