Washington, October 23, 2025 – Sustainable Food Policy Alliance (SFPA) submitted comments on the Food and Drug Administration and U.S. Department of Agriculture’s “Ultra-Processed Foods; Request for Information.” SFPA urged the administration to ensure any policy actions related to food be focused on reducing chronic disease and improving health without creating unintended consequences for the safety of the food supply or adding to consumer confusion.
